Purposes and legal basis for data processing

We process personal data that we receive from you in the context of a business relationship: 

• 
  In accordance with Art. 6 (1) b GDPR in order to perform a contract or implement precontractual measures within the scope of your enquiries;
• In accordance with Art. 6 (1) c GDPR in order to comply with our statutory obligations under corporation and tax law;
• In accordance with Art. 6 (1) f GDPR in order to safeguard our legitimate interests or those of third parties insofar as these override your interests or protection rights;
• In accordance with Art. 6 (1) a GDPR based on your consent insofar as you have voluntarily provided us with data that goes beyond the scope contractually or legally required. You may revoke this consent at any time if you are no longer happy for this data to be processed any further.

We do not process any data for the purpose of automated decision-making, including profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.

Recipients of transmitted data

If a statutory obligation applies, personal data will be transmitted as required to public bodies and institutions such as customs and tax authorities. Personal data will be shared with legal representatives and courts as appropriate in order to defend our legal and economic rights. 

Insofar as we commission processors, we shall remain responsible for protecting your personal data. Your personal data will not be sold to third parties or marketed in any other way.

We shall only transmit personal data to non-EU member states or to international organisations to the extent required in order to perform our contracts in accordance with Art. 49 (1) b GDPR.

Retention period

The statutory retention obligations under the Austrian Federal Fiscal Code (BAO) and the Austrian Commercial Code (UGB) require us to retain business- and billing-related documents for seven years. This data will be erased at the end of the statutory retention periods.

Logging access

We log the time of your request, the IP address of your device, the Internet browser that you are using including the language version, your operating system, the files requested from our website and the website from which you visit us (the “referrer URL”). This data is stored in the form of access logs so that we can prevent and track disruptions or attacks on our website.

The logs created are only used for these purposes and only viewed when requirements dictate. Rather than being saved permanently, they are deleted after no more than four weeks.

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. The provider is Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies, which enable your use of the website to be analysed. Hotjar

This website uses Hotjar, provided by Hotjar Ltd., Level 2, St. Julian’s Business Centre, 3 Elia Zammit Street, St. Julian’s, STJ 1000, Malta, Europe.

Hotjar is a tool for analysing your user behaviour. Amongst other things, it allows us to record your cursor movements, scrolling and clicks. Hotjar uses this information to generate “heat maps” that indicate which areas of the website you view most frequently. This data is used to improve your user experience during your visit.
